Last week I headed out to Chicago for training, but coordinated with friends to come early and explore Chicago. I flew out early Saturday morning and arrived in the windy city not quite prepared for the cold. Oh was it cold! And it was windy! Shantal and Derek, who live right downtown, were kind enough to let me stay with them and Shalee came too! I rode the "L" from the airport and all I could think about was my prince charming getting knocked onto the tracks and having to save him and then the nurse thinking we were engaged, but falling in love with his brother. Oh wait, that's While You Were Sleeping.
Anyways once I arrived, it was time to experience Chicago. Of course, the main thing I wanted to experience was PIZZA! Seriously, pizza is the best thing ever! And Chicago-style pizza is AMAZING.

Look at that crust, it was DEEP dish and oh so great! The cheese is put first not the sauce. Then it was a ton of sausage then tomato chunks, and pepperoni, peppers, onions, mushrooms. Yummy!

On Sunday, we went to church where I totally ran into some friends from BYU. Small world! And there were a ton of cute BYU couples in the ward. I loved it! Then after church, we walked around Navy Pier which was fun.

On Monday, we went to the Chicago History Museum and then went shopping. We also had to try a Chicago Hot Dog!

That night, we went to the top of the Hancock Building. The best part was that the best view was in the Women's Bathroom:)

On Tuesday, I got picked up and went to the Q Center for training. **Side Story: the driver was holding a sign saying "COOK" and then I got into a Town & Country. I felt like a movie star.
